I’m Detroit made, almost, Texas raised. Been in Texas 20 years now. I am a proud Army Veteran and I enjoy helping the youth in my community. I have a private practice, Collier’s Therapy, Coaching & Consulting Grp., LLC., where I give therapy and advocate for mental wellness. While working in my private practice, I began to work with Detention Centers and foster care agencies. I’ve learned that young teen girls can be easily vulnerable to today’s world.
Purchase this ticket to help a teen in the community become part of the Mentorship Program when parents may not be able to afford the program but desire for them to attend. This ticket will be applied to that teen.
Based on my experiences working with the youth within government agencies, I decided to develop, Grow Girl Glo, a Virtual Mentorship Program that mentors and educates girls 10-12 and 13-17 on Mental Health, Basic Life-skills, Positive Lifestyle Choices, and Self-awareness. The program originally started at my church. I decided to move the in-person program to virtual because of the pandemic. As a Mentor, I have helped over 1000 teen girls navigate through challenges in the beginning of adolescence and on to adulthood. My goal is to help my mentees overcome obstacles, gain clarity, build confidence and most importantly be the best version of themselves
We envision a world of teen girls that are already empowered and knowledgeable, no matter the challenge, before womanhood.
Grow Girl Glo will teach teen girls how to overcome obstacles, how gain clarity, how build confidence and most importantly how to be the best version of themselves.
